CLASS ASSIGNMENT
RIVEN COLE — CLASS: DUNGEON GOD (LEGENDARY) · This class cannot be unassigned. This class cannot be transferred. This class has not been assigned to any previous holder.
DUNGEON GOD: You do not clear dungeons. You ARE a dungeon. You control spawn tables, trap arrays, loot pools, and dungeon laws within any enclosed space you claim. The stronger the dungeon you inhabit, the stronger you become.
Riven read the notification four times.
Around him, his tutorial cohort — fourteen strangers assembled in a white void — were receiving their own classes. A teenage girl pumped her fist: [SWORDMASTER, EPIC]. A middle-aged man in scrubs exhaled slowly: [BATTLE MEDIC, RARE].
Everyone had a combat class.
Riven had a class that made him the dungeon.
"Question," he said to the void. "If I'm the dungeon... who's supposed to raid me?"
[Everyone], the System helpfully replied.
